Song of Myself

1- Introduction
I exist as an implement of motion,
Always the procreation of the world,
All goes onward and outward, nothing collapses,
The nature of all things progresses,
I have no mockings or arguments, I witness and wait.

2- Learning
Endless unfolding of words of ages!

The scientific amalgam of properties alone is without flaw, it alone round and completes all,
That mystic baffling wonder alone completes all.

The gentlemen of science that teach these words create the linking books,
A psychic connection from one force to another.

Each is a reality, and I accept the reality and dare not question it,
But instead, substitute my own.

Within the age of learning,
I find one side a balance and the antipodal side a balance,
And one more fact of life,
Balanced systems stimulate civilizations.

3- Energy
I have heard the talk of the beginning and the end,
But I do not talk of the beginning or the end.

Never was there any more inception than there is now,
As the energy of the present is the energy of the future,
And the force of the past is also that of the present.

Lacks one lacks both, and the unseen is proved by the seen,
Till that becomes unseen and receives proof in its turn.

I am not satisfied with lack of energy, and I cannot live without it,
And the threat of perpetual standstill frightens even the most courageous of people,
When life halts forever.

I can say adamantly,
Energy powers future motion.

4- Nature
Life is a creation of nature,
The drawing of a background on a canvas,
The wet rocks on the shore, the green leaves on the tree, the echoes and ripples of the water,

the words of myself and the resonance of the wind.

Yet the rocks cannot be wet, the leaves not green without the water,
The water lack waves without the wind,
And I sustain myself with the water and food in nature.

I survive by experiencing nature, and though future expansion is necessary,
Nature is not forgotten,
And another truth reveals itself,
Nature encourages mutual dependence.

5- Dynamic Forces
Motion is not singular but dynamic, and one act always leads to another,
I watch the cycle of existence, slowly it completes.

The cycle begins and ends on me, I create and terminate it,
But it is never identical to the sequence before it.

I mold it to the form I choose, and watch it again one thousand times,
Only to achieve a different series,
And even more combinations of all actions in the ephemeral set.

Ultimately, the last conclusion is drawn from this,
Dynamic forces spur change.

6- Conclusion
The forces of the earth beneath me, above me, and all around me,
Are the path to the future, to change, and to a civilization impressively stable.

These forces tend inward to me, and I tend outward to them,
And such as it is to be of these more of less I am,
And of these one and all I weave the song of myself.
