Choices...

It is difficult to describe one emotion, without the aid of all the others. Detestation, anger, sadness, irritation, ennui, hate, fear, etc need one another to exist; they cannot lead a single existence. Without one, the other's significance is diminished. Additionally, these emotions need their opposites as well: happiness, joy, contentment, etc. Moreover, new emotions are being created that used to be unknown, such as shadenfreude, the emotion of taking pleasure in another's pain. And as I sit here, contemplating the many emotions for this assignment, I feel lost (not emotionally). I take a moment to search emotions on Wikipedia, and it gives a plethora of feelings. Some are good emotions, some are bad ones, some are ordered by severity, and some are in categories all their own. Once again, it is difficult to describe a single emotion. But you can probably guess what I'm feeling right now.
